Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to support our Lower School Fine Arts program. The ideal candidate will assist the Fine Arts teachers (Art teacher and Music teacher) in delivering engaging lessons, managing classroom activities, and fostering a creative environment for students.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Fine Arts teachers in preparing lesson materials and classroom setup
  • Support students during art projects, music classes, and other creative activities
  • Help maintain a positive classroom environment
  • Monitor student behavior and provide guidance as needed
  • Organize and display student artwork in a manner that enhances the learning environment
  • Assist in planning and executing art exhibitions and music performances
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor degree in Fine Arts or Education preferred)
  • Experience working with children in a classroom setting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Passion for the arts and a desire to inspire creativity in students
