Classroom Instructional Aide St. Anthony Catholic School 12155 Joe Herrmann Drive, San Antonio, FL 33576 Overview St. Anthony Catholic School is a historic and picturesque VPK-8th Grade Diocesan School located in San Antonio, Florida. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Instructional Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students, particularly in an elementary classroom setting. This position requires a nurturing individual who is passionate about childhood development and committed to fostering an inclusive classroom environment. Experience Previous experience working with children in an elementary educational setting is preferred Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote a positive learning atmosphere Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues Duties Assist the lead teacher in implementing small group instruction and 1:1 support Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and structured environment Engage with students to promote learning and development through interactive activities Help prepare educational materials and resources for lessons, bulletin boards Supervise students at lunch and recess Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills in elementary education Join us in making a difference in the lives of children by providing them with the support they need to deepen their faith and thrive on their educational journey. Selected candidates must complete a Level II background screening and a series of Safe Environment-related courses to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and community.
