JOB SUMMARY
This employee is responsible for assisting with the supervision and instruction of incoming 5th grade ESE (Exceptional Student Education) students in Pasco’s Title I summer PEACE camp. PEACE teachers will be instructing students in outdoor settings.
Duties of this position include but are not limited to:
Planning1. Attend pre camp first aid and curriculum meetings.2. Review curriculum created for each environmental center.3. Assisting with making initial welcome calls to all students assigned to you.
Monitoring1. If problems or concerns arise, teachers will communicate those to parents, PEACEsupervisors, and or principals.2. Teachers will be primarily responsible for administrating any medical needs or behavioralinterventions for their students.
Reporting1. Assisting teachers with the grading and reporting of pre and post camp assessments.
REQUIREMENT
Associate Degree, completion of 60 semester hours of college or passing score on the ParaPro Assessment.
