Must have the following in order to apply

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of MODS (Introductory Child Care Training, Part 1 and 2) is required
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Lift up to 40lbs due to the nature of the job.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-aged children

Job Description:

Join our dedicated team at Bardmoor YMCA Preschool Academy as a Preschool Teacher Assistant! In this role, you’ll help create a fun, engaging, and safe environment where children can grow and learn.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work alongside Preschool Teachers to provide an enriching experience for children in the classroom
• Help implement the curriculum promotes creativity and learning
• Lead and facilitate interactive activities like games, arts and crafts, music, and storytelling to foster children’s physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development
• Supervise meal times, outdoor play, and free play, ensuring the children’s safety and well-being.
