At Bright Beginnings, you will find a place that you: Off all nights and weekends Off all major holidays Opportunities to earn as you learn Gain a sense of purpose while making a difference in young children’s lives Gain knowledge in developmentally appropriate practices Will find an accepting team environment where everyone is valued and ideas are welcomed and acknowledged Job duties include: Abiding by all governing agencies’ rules and regulations Create all lesson plans and activities Greet each child and parent as they enter the room, it helps the parents feel welcomed that their child is important. Be at least 18 years of age and have graduated high school or equivalent OR a high school student that can provide necessary documentation showing proof of anticipated HS graduation date. Willing to obtain the required 45 introductory clock hours within 90 days of employment Willing to obtain First Aid and CPR Certifications within 90 days of employment Willing to obtain In-Service hours annually (paid for by employer) Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those with disabilities. Knowledge of infant care and toddler care techniques. Ability to create a nurturing environment that supports emotional growth. Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an orderly learning space. Effective communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues. A background in caregiving or related fields is beneficial.
