Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team in providing a safe and nurturing environment for our young learners in Bartow , FL . In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher in implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a state-approved training program for early childhood education. Experience working with young children in a classroom setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and support staff Enrollment in an associate/bachelor’s degree program or enrolled in CDA credential or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field Pre-School Child Development Associate (CDA) or state equivalency Experience working with diverse populations of children and families Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children in the classroom. Provide a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth of children. Maintain a clean and organized classroom that is conducive to learning. Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on their child’s progress and address any concerns or questions they may have.
