School Aide – Level 1 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars Sarasota, FL 34231 The School Aide is an individual who works with studentsrequiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision ofthe special education department and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide supportservices to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeuticcare needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, socialworker or other health care professional.

Minimum Requirements:

Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Modality & Specialty Level I School Aide/ Parapro Qualifications/Credentials Experience working with children (any setting ok), must have 60+ college credit hours OR passing parapro exam Must be comfortable with changing/ diapering Pay Rate $20 Start Date ASAP Length of Contract End of School Year (5/30/25) Strong Possibility of Summer School- will know first week of May Weekly Schedule Monday-Friday Hours/Week 7:00am-3:00pm Grade Levels Middle School Age students.
