Job Description:
Promisetown Preschool, located on the campus of Ponte Vedra Presbyterian Church, is hiring Assistant Teachers for the 1s, 2s, 3s, and VPK classrooms for the 2025-2026 school year. These are part-time positions with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays . (There are options for 5 day a week positions) We are seeking warm, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals who love working with young children and want to support their growth in a Christ-centered environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines Help create a nurturing, safe, and engaging classroom environment Support children with hands-on learning, play, and transitions throughout the day Maintain open and positive communication with the teaching team and families Provide classroom supervision and support to meet the developmental needs of each child
Qualifications:
Experience working with young children is preferred Patience, flexibility, and a joyful, team-oriented attitude Willingness to follow direction and assist in a variety of classroom tasks CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) A love for children and a desire to serve in a Christian preschool setting
Compensation:
$16-$17 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
