Bilingual Paraprofessional 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Deltona, FL 32725 This is a permanent, full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position; working from Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm; no weekends; flexible to meet department needs.   • Influenza Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide supplemental support to the Teacher of daily instruction to meet the education needs of the students.

Support the Teacher and students by following designated classroom management techniques. Provide line of sight and sound supervision for students in the classroom and during designated activities that may occur outside of the classroom including: lunch time, physical education/outside activities, on-campus activities and field trips ensuring that mandated staff to youth ratios are maintained at all times. Keep records and prepare reports as requested. Maintain classroom schedule and instruction in absence of the teacher. Conduct pre

Grade student assignments. Plan and implement physical education activities. Assist with meal preparation, meal distribution, and cleaning up from meals. Maintain the order, safety, and cleanliness of the facility, including light housekeeping chores which include but is not limited to: sweep/mop/vacuum floors, dusting, wipe down surface areas, window cleaning, and collecting and taking out trash. Demonstrates safety in wearing appropriate PPE when working with youth who are under a quarantine setting, this includes youth waiting for test-results or those deemed positive of an infectious disease, including but not limited to Covid-19. Participate in Interdisciplinary Meetings, staff/teacher meetings, Planning Conferences, in-service training programs, Staff Meetings as requested. Demonstrate knowledge of and familiarity with both FUMCH and Office of Refugee Resettlement Policy and Procedures relating to the care and supervision of Unaccompanied Children.
