Teacher’s Assistant Little Firehouse Daycare Saint Marys, GA 31558 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teacher’s Aide to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education to students, particularly in a daycare setting. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about early childhood education and have experience working with toddlers and children with disabilities. The Teacher’s Aide will assist in creating a nurturing and engaging classroom environment that fosters learning and development. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to the needs of students. Provide care and supervision for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day. Support students with disabilities by adapting learning materials and providing individualized attention as needed. Help manage classroom behavior by implementing positive behavior management strategies. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative learning environment. Facilitate small group activities focused on subjects such as math, literacy, and social skills. Maintain an organized and clean classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Requirements Previous experience in early childhood education or as a Teacher’s Aide is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated. Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable. A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive setting. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while promoting positive behavior among students.
