We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Chief Flight Instructor to help lead our growing instructional team and support our mission to train the next generation of pilots. Position Summary The Assistant Chief Flight Instructor supports the Chief Flight Instructor in managing and supervising the delivery of flight and ground instruction. This role plays a vital part in ensuring instructor standardization, student progression, and compliance with FAA regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities Assist in the administration of FAA-approved Part 141 and 61 training programs. Conduct instructor standardization flights and monitor instructional quality Serve as a mentor and point of contact for assigned Certified Flight Instructors (CFIs) Oversee student progress tracking and coordinate intervention for students requiring additional support. Provide stage checks, end-of-course evaluations, and checkride endorsements as authorized. Participate in onboarding and training new instructors Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all student training activities Support the Safety Management System (SMS) through safety briefings and reporting Assume Chief Flight Instructor responsibilities during absences, as designated Maintain compliance with all applicable FAA regulations and internal policies Qualifications FAA Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) with Instrument (CFII) and Multi-Engine Instructor (MEI) required Minimum of 500 hours dual given preferred (Part 141 experience strongly preferred) Must meet 14 CFR Part 141 Assistant Chief Instructor eligibility requirements Strong knowledge of FAA training standards, instructional techniques, and flight school operations Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with cross-domain teams Commitment to safety, professionalism, and student success What We Offer Competitive salary with performance incentives Health, dental, and vision insurance options Opportunities for advancement within a growing organization Access to a modern and diverse training fleet Professional development and ongoing training support A culture that values safety, integrity, and excellence in aviation training
