Assistant Toddler Teacher Little Angels Daycare 131 Canal Street, Pooler, GA 31322
Overview:
Join our team as a dedicated Toddler Assistant Teacher and make a difference in the lives of our youngest learners. Hours for this position will be 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
Support the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development. Create a safe and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. Engage with children through play, storytelling, music, and art to encourage creativity and imagination. Assist with daily routines including diapering, meals, classroom cleaning duties, and following the cuuriculum.
Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development. Patience, empathy, and the ability to establish positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues High school diploma or equivalent; coursework or certification in Early Childhood Education preferred. Previous experience working with toddlers in a childcare or educational setting is desirable.
