Position Details Duration:
start in August for a 10-month contract
Compensation:
$20-22 per hour

Key Responsibilities Classroom Support:
Assist the lead teacher in delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum and engaging activities.
Daily Routines:
Help support children during arrivals, departures, meal times, toileting, and naptime.
Learning Experiences:
Facilitate play-based learning that fosters social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Supervision:
Ensure the safety and well-being of children during indoor and outdoor activities.
Classroom Management:
Help set up and maintain an organized, clean, and inviting classroom environment.
Materials Preparation:
Prepare and manage supplies for classroom activities and projects.
Individual Support:
Provide one-on-one assistance to children requiring extra guidance.
Observation & Documentation:
Assist in observing and recording children’s behavior, progress, and milestones.
Parent Communication:
Update parents on their child’s day, achievements, and any concerns.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the lead teacher and colleagues to nurture a positive, inclusive classroom community.
Professional Development:
Attend staff meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
Compliance:
Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Additional Duties:
Perform other tasks as assigned to support the preschool program.
