We will accept all children regardless of diagnosis or special circumstances ages 6 weeks through 5 years old. We offer a tailored experience for all children.

Requirements:

Must be 16 or older Background check, Fingerprinting, Other 8 hour Health & Safety Training and other onboarding training in the first week.

CPR/FIRST

Aid certification and Fire Safety Training to be taken in your first 90 days of hire. Candidate will be responsible for aiding in teaching developmentally appropriate educational material to children ages 6 weeks to 5 years of age under guidance from our Special Education Teacher and Lead Teacher. Must have a passion for children. Maintains a classroom environment which promotes active learning. Execute daily classroom routines, including distributing and collecting supplies, keeping attendance records, setting up meals, etc. (we use the Lillio app for attendance and reports) Adheres to Emmy’s Academy policies and procedures. Uses appropriate judgment to always act in the best interest of students. Maintain an orderly learning environment. Share routine duties with other staff. (supervision on playground, toileting, cleanup, classroom maintenance) Assist in keeping room and other areas neat and clean. Interact with children in activities he/she is supervising. Perform appropriate hand washing and sanitizing procedures. Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in early childhood education or related field
• Familiarity with daycare operations and best practices
• Ability to work effectively with young students in a classroom setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• Previous experience in babysitting, preschool, or similar roles is a plus
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
• Passion for educating and nurturing young learners
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
