Assistant Teacher/Floater Foundation Academy Newnan 212 Jefferson Parkway, Newnan, GA 30263 Assistant Teacher Job Summary We are looking for caring Assistant Teachers for our infants, one-year old, two-year old, three-year old classroom and afterschool/school holiday classroom. You will collaborate with our Lead Teachers to prepare children for school both academically and socially by using age-appropriate lesson plans, selecting effective developmental materials for the classroom, and utilizing positive behavior reinforcement. Available to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 am – 6:00 pm full time or 12:00 pm – 6:00pm part time. Assistant Teacher Duties and Responsibilities Assist in implementing curriculum Support creativity and learning Provide supervision during activities Select age-appropriate developmental materials for the classroom Keep classroom neat and organized Provide parents with progress reports File incident reports as needed Assistant Teacher Requirements and Qualifications At least 16 years old First aid and CPR certification is a plus Complete annual training
