Assistant Teacher Creative Corner Kids Club 4426 Hugh Howell Road, Tucker, GA 30084 Overview Creative Corner Kids Club is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students. This role is essential in fostering the development of young minds and ensuring that each child receives the attention and guidance they need to thrive. The Assistant Teacher will work closely with children, helping to implement curriculum activities and maintain classroom management. Duties Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote learning and development. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive environment conducive to learning. Engage with students to encourage participation, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning. Provide individualized attention to students, including those with special education needs. Help supervise children during playtime, meals, and other activities to ensure their safety and well-being. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and any concerns. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that supports effective learning. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required. Qualifications Experience working with students in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Familiarity with classroom management techniques to create a structured environment. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues. Experience in curriculum development tailored for young learners is a plus. A background in special education is beneficial but not required. Passion for childcare and commitment to fostering a positive learning experience for all children. Must be patient, creative, and enthusiastic about working with young children.
