The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, managing classroom activities, and supporting the developmental needs of each child. The Preschool Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our students while ensuring their safety and well-being. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Foster social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based learning activities. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with special education staff to support children with diverse learning needs or disabilities. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible. Observe and assess children’s development, documenting progress and adjusting teaching strategies as needed. Experience Previous experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education is required. Experience in special education or working with children with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong skills in behavior management, caregiving, and creating engaging classroom activities are important for success in this role. A background in early childhood education or related fields is preferred but not mandatory for candidates demonstrating relevant experience.
