Behavioral Health Paraprofessional for Fulton County, GA 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Fulton County, GA The Behavioral Health Paraprofessional position is focused on providing individual/family mental health skill building and case management services in the Fulton county area using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches of care for children, adolescents, and adults. Job Duties and Responsibilities Providing individual/family mental health skill building services using evidence based and trauma informed approaches of care. Commitment to providing consistent, ongoing services to clients. Coordinating with therapists to provide crisis intervention as necessary to enhance and restore functioning. Participate in coordination of care with a multi-disciplinary treatment team Meet or exceed agency required productivity and documentation standards May require some travel to meet with clients face-to-face Other duties as assigned

Requirements Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a psychology/social work/human services-related discipline preferred Must be able to pass DBHDD background check (required prior to providing any services to clients) State-mandated training: Relias, CPR/First Aid, CPI (must be completed within the first 30 days of hire) Knowledge of Medicaid/CMO compliance requirements preferred Willingness to learn new documentation and case management skills Receptivity to feedback/constructive criticism Individuals who are prompt in communication, have collaborative personalities, and demonstrate a passion and knowledge for mental health and human services will be considered.

  • Must live in the Fulton county area to be considered.
  • Must be able to provide both virtual and in-person services
  • Full-time preferred, but willing to consider part-time candidates willing to take on a caseload of at least 12-15 ongoing clients (25 billable hours per week).
