Job Description
The International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP) Certification Program Assistant is a full-time position that will significantly impact the lives of people with disabilities. The position will work in the IAAP Professional Certification Unit reporting to the Certification Director and working with the Certification Program Team. IAAP currently offers these professional certifications : Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) Accessible Document Specialist (ADS) These support a standard of knowledge and capacity to apply accessibility job tasks and responsibilities throughout an organization to express and implement a dedicated commitment to accessibility. Responsibilities Certification Maintenance & Renewal (60%) Process Continuing Accessibility Education Credits (CAECs) submissions Manage renewal of certifications Reporting on renewal data and attrition Assist Certification team staff and applicants in retrieving data to address questions and facilitate the certification renewal processes Work with staff to provide superior customer service for our certificants, members and non-member alike Certificant Support (30%) Manage and organize/tag shared mailbox content to appropriate team members Respond to general inquiries pertaining to certification in a timely manner, including addressing questions regarding certification criteria, registration, payments and profile updates Respond to and/or assign tasks for cases from Contact Us pages Respond to requests for verification of certification Manage communications regarding general certification inquiries, including eligibility requirements, exam and renewal deadlines, and certification exam result timetables Assist with application review as needed Other duties as assigned (10%) In support of projects in the certification team realm Why Join G3ict?
