Early Childhood – Teacher Assistant/Aide Northwoods Montessori School 3340 Chestnut Dr, Atlanta, GA 30340 Summary We are currently accepting applications for a Teacher Assistant for our Toddler Community to join our faculty and staff at Northwoods Montessori School for the 2025-2026 school year. We are located in a beautiful neighborhood community just 12 miles north of downtown Atlanta. Our lovely Toddler Community serves 12 children and is supervised by a Lead Teacher and two Assistants. The school contract runs July 30 through May 28th, 2026 with the possibility of renewal for the following year. Come see why children and families love it here!

Duties Responsibilities:

Willing to learn from the Lead Guide in the Toddler Community Able to multi-task and learn on your feet Willing and able to work with the needs of toddlers – this includes toilet awareness, food preparation, service and cleanup, dressing, and being active in the indoor/outdoor environments Encourage toddler independence while maintaining safety at all times Help keep the classroom environment clean Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience working with children ages 12 months to 3 years of age Ability to work well with others Open to learning about the Montessori Approach Team Oriented Strong oral and written communication skills in English Must have own transportation.
