Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:30 PM (8 hours work per day + 1.5 hours break)
Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director / Inclusive Classroom Teacher with an RBT or similar background (RBT certification not required) to join our Inclusive Care team. This is a dynamic dual-role opportunity combining inclusive classroom teaching and operational support responsibilities. It offers a clear pathway to promotion into more senior roles in program leadership and center management . Responsibilities –
Inclusive Classroom & Behavior Support:
Apply behavior strategies to support the social, emotional, and communication development of children (ages 3-5) with and without special needs. Integrate behavioral support into daily routines to improve self-regulation, transitions, and peer interaction . Respond calmly and professionally to challenging behaviors, such as mood swings, physical outbursts, or aggressive play . Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in supporting a diverse group of learners. Lead structured small-group activities and learning sessions to encourage positive behavior and skill building. Track and report individual progress through observation logs, communication with parents, and collaboration with team members . Work closely with parents, therapists, and specialists to enhance learning and behavior outcomes. Responsibilities –
Assistant Director & Center Management Support:
Support the Director with daily center operations , including scheduling, ratio compliance, and classroom supervision. Help facilitate staff onboarding, training, and accountability . Lead by example in professional conduct, communication, and classroom support . Assist with compliance monitoring , documentation, and center communication. Provide leadership coverage in the Director’s absence. Participate in planning and executing special programs and center events.
Additional Duties:
Drive the company van to pick up students from local schools as part of the after-school program. (Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.) Attend team meetings and engage in regular professional development.
Qualifications:
MUST have experience with special needs education (formal or informal). Preferred background in daycare centers or inclusive early childhood classrooms . Strong classroom management and behavior guidance skills. Effective communicator, team collaborator, and reliable leader. Valid Georgia driver’s license with a safe driving record.
