Assistant Teacher Storybrook Academy 4249 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, GA 30542 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for students. This role is essential in fostering literacy education and promoting childhood development through engaging lesson planning and hands-on activities. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs. Facilitate a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement. Help maintain classroom organization, including preparing materials and resources for lessons. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual student performance. Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to support students’ educational journeys. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Skills Background in childcare or early childhood education is preferred. Ability to implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for educating young learners.
