Full Job Description Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated /After School Teacher/ Floater to join our team. As an After School Teacher/ Floater, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. Your role will involve developing lesson plans, delivering instruction, assessing student progress, and fostering a love of learning. You may go into to other classroom and assist teachers until the arrive.

Duties:

• Bus driver for afterschool pick
• up•Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards•Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students•Use effective behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment•Assess student progress through various methods such as tests, projects, and assignments•Provide individualized support to students who may require additional assistance•Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational experience•Utilize theater techniques to enhance student engagement and learning•Incorporate principles of childhood development into instructional practices•Utilize knowledge of early childhood education to create developmentally appropriate activities•Draw on experience working with students to address their unique needs and learning styles•Implement strategies for classroom management that promote a productive learning environment•Provide guidance and support to students in their academic and personal growth

Skills:

• Teachable, coachable and flexible
• Strong behavior management skills to create a positive and structured classroom environment
• Experience working with children in various settings such as theater, babysitting, or educational programs
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and how they apply to teaching practices
• Ability to educate and inspire students through engaging instructional methods
