Academic Coach/ Teacher Assistant Position Available In Muscogee, Georgia

Academic Coach/ Teacher Assistant AOC Columbus, GA 31909 This position is needed M-F from 8:30a

• 2:30p.

Must be willing to assist with hands on activity planning and lesson planning virtually for 5 weeks prior to school beginning immediately . First day of school is August 5th. We’re a microschool/homeschool learning pod for homeschoolers, virtual learners and learners transitioning to non traditional education settings K-8th grade! We provide individual learning path guidance Small academic coach to learner ratios Creative hands on and STEAM based learning

• Assist the lead Academic Coach in monitoring and supporting learners within the learning pod.
• Provide support to learners guiding them through their academic work and online work when needed.
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies.
• Support students in their literacy and math development.
• Collaborate with the lead Academic Coach to plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities.
• Collaborate with lead Academic Coach to implement engaging weekly enrichment days. “`Skills“`
• Experience or knowledge in child development or education.
• Ability to effectively manage a classroom and implement behavior management strategies.
• Have a growth mindset
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with the academic coaches and parents.
• Knowledge of literacy education and math concepts for childhood development.
