Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Medical Assistant Instructor to join our Dalton, GA campus. In this role, you will educate and mentor future medical assistants, preparing them to excel in clinical and administrative settings. The ideal candidate will bring industry knowledge, a commitment to student success, and strong communication skills to our team. Key Responsibilities Instructional Delivery Teach assigned Medical Assistant courses, covering both clinical and administrative content areas. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that meet program objectives and align with state and accreditation standards. Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to support diverse learning styles Student Engagement Motivate and mentor students to achieve their academic and professional goals. Provide timely and constructive feedback on student performance. Conduct hands-on skills labs and supervise students in clinical simulations. Classroom Administration Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and evaluations. Enforce school policies and maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment. Professional Collaboration Work collaboratively with the Program Director and other instructors to continuously improve the curriculum. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience Education -Minimum of a diploma or associate degree in Medical Assisting or a related healthcare field. At least 3 years of recent experience as a Medical Assistant or related healthcare professional. Previous teaching or training experience preferred, but not required. Certifications Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) is required. CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start). Skills Strong clinical skills, especially in phlebotomy, EKG, injections, and vital signs. Effective communication and classroom management abilities. Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, learning management systems).

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
