Assistant Teacher JoJo’s Preschool at HIghland 7424 Highland Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70808

Assistant Teacher Duties:

• Assist the lead teacher in educational activities
• Provide support and guidance to students in the classroom
• Assist with behavior management and create a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with the lead teacher
• Support students with special needs, including those with autism or other developmental challenges
• Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise students during activities, meals, and outdoor playtime

Skills:

• Experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or educational setting
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
• Ability to work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other staff members
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and provide individualized support This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about working with children and helping them learn and grow.
