The goal of GCCS is to make a high quality, Christian education available to every child and family in the Gardere area, regardless of their financial circumstances. www.gardereschool.com Responsibilities Assist the teacher in all subjects in an inclusive classroom setting according to state and federal standards Engage children in project work, learning centers, and hands on learning Utilize Amplify CKLA, Eureka Math and Bridges curriculum Integrate Bible and Christian attributes throughout all content and management Assist in executing motivating lessons that make subjects “come alive” for students, and help them feel positive about themselves and their abilities Work in partnership and collaboration with Lead teacher in planning, developing curriculum, problem solving, special projects and teaching in a developmentally appropriate manner Be able to differentiate instruction so that lessons reach all students Use benchmark system to track student progress as well as assist Lead Teacher in submitting documentation per federal and state guidelines Create an inclusive classroom environment through regular class meetings, supportive exchanges with students and clear expectations for community behavior Work and communicate professionally and effectively with parents in formal and informal conferences, written reports and newsletters Be a positive role model for students and parents as a contributing member of the GCCS community.
