Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in the classroom, support student learning and behavior, and help create a positive and engaging educational experience for all students.

Key Responsibilities:

Support classroom teachers in instructional and non-instructional tasks Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to reinforce lessons Assist with classroom management and student supervision Help prepare instructional materials and maintain a clean, organized learning environment Support students with special needs in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers Foster a nurturing, respectful, and culturally responsive classroom environment Supervise students during arrival, dismissal, lunch, recess, and other transitions

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required Associate’s degree, or completion of 60 college credit hours, or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment (preferred) Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
