Preschool Teacher & Assistant 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars Monroe, LA 71201 Preschool Teacher Helper We are a private Christian preschool who is looking for a preschool assistant teacher who is interested in assisting in our classrooms, encouraging children to grow in faith, a positive self-concept, creative expression, enhanced verbal and motor skills, and sound health and safety practices. Responsibilities Assist in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment. Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Provide care and supervision for children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative atmosphere. Help with behavior management and support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. Engage in daily activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Qualifications Strong classroom management skills Experience working with children in educational settings Background in childcare and early childhood education Excellent communication skills Familiarity with special education and literacy education Ability to develop and implement lesson plans Experience with behavior management and working with children with disabilities Knowledge of Montessori and toddler care practices
