POSITION DESCRIPTION

Southeastern Technical Institute is a hiring part-time teaching assistant for the evening Welding program for the summer only. This 300-hour program includes classroom, and shop hours. The teaching assistant will work with the program instructor to support new welding students in both the classroom the shop. The individual will assist students developing welding skills in a safe learning environment and set up classroom and shop as directed by the instructor.

SCHEDULED HOURS

The scheduled hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8AM-3PM. Candidates much possess a high school Diploma or equivalent and have welding experience.
