Full Job Description Summary of Job Responsibilities:
Supervises student(s) at all times, as indicated on the IEP, to ensure the safety of the student(s), peers, and adultsProvides discrete trial instruction to identified students and maintains accurate skill acquisition dataMonitor student behavior as indicated on the students Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) and collect data for progress monitoringDirect teaching daily living skills, including eating, drinking, dressing, bathroom, and hygiene skillsUtilize Applied Behavior Analysis teaching principles throughout the school day when working with studentsExperience with instructional support: provide program instruction, as deemed necessary, and provide accurate skill acquisition facilitation under the guidance of the classroom teacher Utilize therapeutic and self-regulatory principles to support the needs of all students Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Experience and Requirements:
Minimum high school diploma/GED; Associate Degree or higher preferredExperience working with students with social, emotional, and/or behavioral needsExcellent oral, written, and communication skillsCitizenship, residency, or work visa required
