Job Description
SPED Teaching Assistants
- Middle School Manchester Essex Regional School District 36 Lincoln St, Manchester, MA 01944 Assist with lesson planning, individual and small group instruction, and reinforcing learning activities
- Help students with executive functioning, academic, and social emotional needs as outlined in individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student behavior, implement positive behavior support strategies
- Assist with classroom support, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment
- Collect and record data on student progress, communicate observations to teachers, and participate in IEP meetings
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to support students’ needs
