Job Description
Saint Agnes School, in collaboration with Arlington Catholic High School, is part of the Catholic School of Saint Agnes Parish (www.achssas.org). We serve infants through Grade 8 at our campus, who then continue on at ACHS for Grades 9-12.
We are in search of classroom aides for our PreK/Kindergarten classrooms. The ideal candidate collaborates well, and sees building positive relationships with students as central to his/her work as an educator.
The chief responsibilities of this position include:
- Assist teacher as needed
- Create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment for all students
- Communicate effectively and often with teacher
- Assist all students as needed
- Interact and communicate with students in a calm, kind, and nurturing manner
- Understand and support the unique strengths of each child, academically, socially, and emotionally
- Support the faith formation of students and participate/accompany them in faith formation experiences (Mass, Adoration, etc.)
- Support the school’s overall mission and serve as a contributing member of the school community
- Perform other related duties as required
