$32.9K – $38.7K a year 1 day ago Qualifications Entry level Full Job Description This Educational Assistant supports the STAGES Program teacher and the students to meet their IEP goals. The assistant will provide support in all education settings as outlined in the students individual education plan, and as directed by the program teacher. The assistant will support students academically, socially and emotionally across settings, as needed. STAGES is a facilitated inclusion program.
Specific expectations include:
Work with the Special Education teacher and all other teachers/staff to implement accommodations and instructional modifications as needed Collaborate on learning materials and provide accommodations for accessing the general education curriculumImplement IEPs as directed by Special Education liaison/classroom teacher; assist in the implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans and data collection, as well as Positive Behavior SupportsParticipate in district wide Professional Development as assignedWork cooperatively with staff to support school Core Values Other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher/building principal
