Building Principal/Director of Student Support Services Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree or Pass Para-Pro Exam
• Experience working with students in classroom setting, including special education and those with behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of effective instructional techniques and strategies
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, co-workers, and parents when needed
• Must have good attention to detail and be alert at all times
• Must be a positive role model
• Ability to remain calm and patient at all times

Responsibilities:

• Provide adequate supervision of students at all times
• Provide instructional support to students either individually or in small groups
• Take direction from teachers and administration, and BCBA
• Assist classroom teacher with daily lessons and classroom activities
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and material
• Other duties as assigned
