Responsibilities:

Assist teachers in classroom management and instruction Experience working with K-12 students with a range of behavioral needs Collect and analyze data on student behavior and progress Provide direct support to students with behavioral challenges Provide one-on-one support to Nonverbal student with special needs Help with the preparation of learning materials for severe caseloads Assist with the development of instructional material, toileting, moving to therapy sessions Assisting students with communication disorders classroom setting and implementation of IEP notes

Qualifications:

Maine ED TECH Level 2 or Level 3 is required Must have 1+ year of Paraprofessional experience in a school setting working with severe behavioral students and/or Associate’s degree to be considered CPR and First Aid trained preferred Familiarity with Speech Therapy concepts, IEPs, and special education At least 1 year of Applied Behavior Analyst (ABA) experience is a plus How to
