The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or GED. The ideal candidate must be enrolled in Early Childhood college coursework or be willing to enroll, or have a Early Childhood Associate’s Degree. This role involves engaging with preschool children to foster and promote literacy, math, and social skills while managing classroom behavior effectively. Experience in private school settings in a Christian environment. Responsibilities Provide assistance to the lead teacher while teaching the students. Interact with the children through work and play in an age appropriate fashion. Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere. Assist in assessing and documenting children’s progress in developmental areas. Collaborate with parents and guardians to support children’s growth and address any concerns. Maintain a safe and organized classroom space that promotes student engagement. Requirements Associate’s degree or be working towards in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Proven experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting, but not required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
