Join an experienced and committed team made up of early childhood professionals in a NAEYC-accredited early childhood center located on Purina?s campus in downtown St. Louis! When joining our team, you will bring your expertise and assist with implementing lesson plans based on Project Construct in a play-based curriculum, while interacting with children and families. You will implement family-style dining and help promote a safe environment where children can be happy and active learners. Be part of a great team and help make a difference in a young child’s life. We are seeking a nurturing, experienced teacher who brings energy and creativity to work every day to join the Nestle Purina Child Development Center team. Duties Work with children in a one-on-one and group setting through meaningful, hands-on learning activities � Assist with implementing the lesson plans the Lead Teachers create that are developmentally appropriate and differentiated for all skill levels and student interests � Facilitate planned math, literacy, and science learning activities that allow students the opportunity to communicate orally and in writing � Use daily mealtimes with the class as a method to incorporate learning, and social skills � Assist with following schedules and routines for the children � Promote and model a positive and respectful learning environment that focuses on positive redirection � Establish trust and bond with the children and families in which you will serve � Communicate with parents about children?s day. � Maintain a safe and healthy classroom by following all center health and safety guidelines and rules � Demonstrate high standards of professionalism and ethics Requirements High School diploma or Equivalent � 1 year of experience working in early childhood Nice To Haves � Associate?s degree or higher in Education or related field � CDA Certification Benefits Health, Vision, and Dental insurance Life insurance Paid time off + Holidays (including extended days off at end of year) Tuition reimbursement Yearly Bonuses Access to Nestl� Purina?s campus and amenities (walking trails, Starbucks, Full-Service Cafeteria, and The Store (+Discount)
