Qualifications:
- Associates (or higher) degree, or have two years of college (60 credits), or have successfully passed the ETS Paraprofessional exam preferred
- Must be competent in math skills
- Must be of good health; and be able to lift, bend, and stretch as job requires
- Must have a good attendance record
- Must possess good decision-making skills
- Must be willing to grow professionally
- Must be flexible in work assignments
- Must demonstrate sociability and warmth in attitude toward students, other employees, and the supervisor
Duties:
Operates the circulation desk—assisting students and staff in locating, selecting and using media center materials Assists the Media Specialist in preparing or presenting instructional materials Design and carry out clerical duties such as inventory, collection maintenance, processing new library resources, compiling records/reports and other projects as assigned by the Media Specialist This position works 75 hours per day following the teacher schedule Exact hours to be determined by principal After reviewing the qualifications and responsibilities of the available position, interested candidates must complete the on-line application and attach a cover letter and resume
