The South College School of Physician Assistant Studies Program is seeking a highly motivated and innovative individual for the position of Director of Didactic Education at its Indianapolis Campus. This team-oriented individual in coordination with the Program Director, ensures effective planning, coordination, delivery and ongoing evaluation of academic courses, goals and competencies. The PA program has strong administrative support, excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development. Clinical practice release time is available.
General Responsibilities:
Provide oversight of the development, content, implementation, and continuous evaluation of the didactic curriculum
Ongoing sustainability and development of the academic portion of the program
Provide continuous self-assessment and evaluation of the academic phase
Assist in the continuous review and compliance of federal, state and accrediting activities
Plan scholarship and service activities to assist the Institutions compliance outcomes
Instruction in all phases of the program
Participate in student admissions and committees as assigned
Requirements
Graduate of ARC-PA accredited program
Current NCCPA certification Masters in Physician Assistant studies or health related field
Eligibility for PA licensure in Indiana
Prefer at least 3 years or more of teaching or clinical education experience
