Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher
• Follow lesson plans and ensure continuity of instruction
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Implement classroom management strategies to promote student engagement and behavior management
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic progress

Skills:

• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive learning environment
• Experience working with students with autism or special needs, implementing appropriate strategies and accommodations
• Knowledge of literacy education principles and techniques to support reading and writing instruction
• Experience working with diverse groups of students, including those from different cultural backgrounds or with varying abilities
• Familiarity with early childhood education principles and practices for working with young learners
• Ability to educate and engage students in a variety of subjects and grade levels
• Knowledge of childcare and childhood development principles for effective student support
