Paraprofessional – Durham Area – CLS & Respite Services Alpha Management Services, Inc. Durham, NC 27707 Alpha Management Services, Inc. is a Behavioral Health agency that provides Developmental Services to children and adults that are designed to enhance their quality of life. We are currently recruiting for Paraprofessionals to provide one-on-one services. The responsibilities of the Paraprofessional includes but is not limited to implementing interventions to assist with increasing daily and community living skills, socialization skills, and adaptation skills. The responsibilities also include ensuring the health and safety of the person served.

14-year-old female consumer located in Durham with the following details:
Hours:
15 hours of CLS (Community Living Supports) during school 28 hours of CLS outside of school 210 hours of respite care (used throughout authorization period)
Schedule:
Flexible hours, Monday through
Sunday Responsibilities:
Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) at home and in the community Support the consumer in developing social interaction and conversational skills Provide guidance on coping strategies during emotional situations and outbursts Offer respite care to relieve caregivers and prevent burnout
Requirements:
18 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED Drivers Licenses ( Need to be able to transport Consumer within the community) Automobile Auto Insurance Established Bank Accounts Social Security Card, Birth Certificate and/ or Passport if Social Security Card is unavailable. All applicants will be drug tested when hired All applicants will need to pass background checks. CPR/ First Aid and NCI training is provided by company
