Are at least 18 years old with the necessary credentials, including passing a background check, holding a high school diploma or GED, and possessing or actively working towards an Associate Degree in birth-through-kindergarten, child development, early childhood education, or a related field, or holding a CDA credential. Responsibilities
Your Role as a

Pre-K Assistant Teacher:

We are seeking passionate educators like YOU to assist the NC Pre-K Lead Teacher oversee classroom activities, adhering to standards set by the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education, and aligning with the objectives of the current NC Pre-K Curriculum. In this supportive role, you’ll contribute to creating a nurturing and positive atmosp for children and their families, helping to e strong, supportive relationships. Your involvement will be crucial in assisting with the planning and implementation of learning experiences that promote various developmental domains, such as physical health, social-emotional growth, cognitive abilities, and creative expression. You’ll also play a key role in observing and assessing the children’s development, aiding in the customization of curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child.
