Job Title Federal Work Study- Library and Instructional Assistant- High Point
Full Time/Part Time Job Description Provide assistance to the library staff at the High Point Campus including inventory, check outs, shelving, answering phones, providing directions and helping with special projects.
Duties/Functions To perform this job successfully the incumbent must be able to perform the essential duties with reasonable accommodations.
Assists students at the circulation desk with book and DVD checkout and returns.
Assists students with navigating college and library web pages
Assists student with navigating Canvas and with uploading files as needed
Collects daily mail, assists with copier and printer and provides daily cleaning as assigned
Difficult Challenges Contacts Jocelyne Caldera and other library personnel
Education Required Education Preferred 3.0 GPA
Experience Required Customer service, retail or computer background
Experience Preferred Prior retail or customer service experience
Prior computer experience
KSA Required KSA Preferred Experience with customer service
Experience with CANVAS
Knowledge of GTCC web pages
Some technical (printer/computer) experience
