Paraprofessional/Habilitation Technician Job Description Happy Hearts LLC Gibsonville, NC 27249 A paraprofessional/habilitation technician will maintain a therapeutic environment while supervising adults aged 18 and older in a residential setting. As a paraprofessional/habilitation technician, the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Providing structure and consistency as treatment programs are followed
• Complete progress notes on each household member
• Provide transportation for consumers to all scheduled appointments
• Administer and record medication schedules and maintain adherence to medication schedules
• Ensure the facility remains clean and all household tasks are complete
• Maintain a schedule for residents
• Prepare meals for residents during shift
• Conduct all scheduled drills and maintain documentation
• Conduct weekly water monitoring and record results
• Any additional duties as assigned by the Director and/or supervisor

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid NC Driver’s License
• No violations reported to the Health Care Registry
• No convictions of abuse or neglect This position is essential for promoting the well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life through dedicated support and care.
