Preschool Teacher Assistant Jump Ahead Learning Academy 4000 Presbyterian Road, Greensboro, NC 27406 Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires a commitment to educating students through engaging activities and effective classroom management techniques. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards. Educate students in various subjects, including math, through interactive lessons. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment. Conduct standardized testing as necessary to assess student progress. Provide early intervention strategies for children who may need additional support. Ensure the welfare of each child by maintaining a safe and nurturing classroom atmosphere. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge. Qualifications Proven experience working with students in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and child welfare practices. Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for early childhood education. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to support diverse learning needs. A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
