NC Pre-K Teacher Assistant Spring Hill Child Care Center Inc. 2559 Spring Hill Church Road, Lillington, NC 27546 Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and express themselves. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a safe and orderly learning space. Assess and monitor each child’s progress in various developmental areas, providing feedback to parents as needed. Create engaging activities that promote literacy education, math skills, and other essential learning objectives. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all students, including those with disabilities. Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child’s development and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Associate Degree Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom or childcare setting is essential. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Proven skills in classroom management and the ability to create an inclusive environment for all students. Knowledge of curriculum development focused on literacy education and math concepts. Experience working with students with disabilities is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
