The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers to support the learning and development of students, particularly in a private school setting. This role is essential for fostering a positive learning environment and assisting students with diverse needs, including those with disabilities. The Teacher’s Aide will engage in various educational activities, contribute to lesson planning, and help manage classroom behavior. Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support students in their learning, particularly in subjects such as Math and Early Childhood Education. Provide individualized attention to students with disabilities, ensuring they receive appropriate support. Help manage classroom behavior by implementing behavior management strategies. Facilitate small group activities and assist with child care routines as needed. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teacher on individual student needs. Participate in the planning and preparation of educational materials and resources. Foster a safe and nurturing environment that promotes childhood development. Qualifications Experience working in a child care setting is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices. Familiarity with lesson planning and educational strategies for preschool-aged children. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, teachers, and parents.
