We have approximately 525 students from 2-year-old through 12 grade and are located in Davidson, North Carolina. We are seeking a full-time Teacher Assistant for Kindergarten starting in August 2025. This position will be exempt and report to the Head of Lower School.

Essential Functions:

Plan and prepare for classroom instruction Collaborate with Lead Teacher and other faculty to support the students Perform clerical duties such as making copies, laminating, and preparing instructional materials Assist the Lead Teacher in classroom set up and pack up Support the classroom environment Contribute to the culture of learning by maintaining a professional attitude and demeanor Nurture academic, intellectual, ethical, and social growth in all students Assist individual students or small groups of students as required Create an environment of respect and rapport; interactions are friendly and demonstrate warmth, caring, and respect Work in conjunction with the Lead Teacher to promote a safe, orderly learning environment Treat each child as an individual Maintain an organized and safe classroom Communicate with families in collaboration with Lead Teacher Assist with all duties (lunch, playground, and carpool) Attend and support school events which occur after hours and on weekends Attend and contribute to faculty meetings (All School and Lower School) Perform all other duties appropriate to employment as determined by the Head of School Comply with all rules and regulations established as school policy

Required Education and Experience:
