Responsibilities:

This Charlotte Lab School summer teacher assistant position will have the following responsibilities in support of Lab’s vision: Report to Summer Program Director and Summer Program Teachers Work directly with students with unique learning needs (i.e. behavior needs, EC/504/EL students, etc.) Assist teachers with academic and/or enrichment courses during the summer program Assist teachers with progress monitoring and final reading assessments Provide support in instructing and monitoring students in the use of learning materials Operates and cares for equipment used in the classroom for instructional purposes. Assist teachers in administering Read to Achieve tests OR EOCs at the end of the program

PREPARATION

Have relevant experience; Have comfort with relevant technology and experience with Google Suite; Possess strong management skills; Are exceptionally organized and have the ability to prioritize effectively and meet competing deadlines;
